Merry Christmas! On Christmas Eve we set out all the gifts under the tree.

A tradition in our family is the laying of "Reindeer Nip" on our lawn to let Santa and his reindeer know where we live. Our old Hometeacher from Fredericton (Br. Sterner) started the tradition for us. Let us know if you want the secret reindeer nip recipe...
Someone wears the Santa hat. Spencer didn't like it very much.
Colorado did! Ho Ho ho!
Every Christmas Eve, we re-enact the Nativity. I'm sure Mary didn't look that wild in a green 60's dress (Mom found her costume in the Hallowe'en bag), and pink slippers, but hey it was fun being Mary. Usually Colorado dresses up as Mary. This year she was the angel proclaiming glad tidings. She wore her white baptism dress (it still fit). Spencer wasn't too hip on having his picture taken, he was a shepherd. Samuel was our baby Jesus and Daddy was the narrator.
Avery was our horse (hence the horse costume). He really didn't want to be a donkey. Isaac was Joseph.
Christams Morning! 7:30 AM (not bad!) The tree is decorated from the middle up because Spencer kept taking off the ornaments and about 10 ornaments needed crazy glue.
The Kids open their Santa gifts and their stockings first.
Spencer got a NEW comfortor and a NEW pillow for his bed. (These were in the large black bags.)
Colorado got her VERY OWN sewing machine! Yes a real one. Now she can sew whatever she wants! We have a future clothing designer in the family.
Spencer has moved out of the crib to his new bed (with all the fixins!)
Samuel now inherits the crib!
