Making Dolls

Grandma brought with her (in her suitcase) fabric for Colorado and Mommy. One of the pieces of fabric had dolls on it that you could sew. Colorado inivited her friend Ashley over and we spent the day sewing. We sewed and sewed and sewed.

While the girls worked on their dolls Mommy (BJ) cut out some extra fabric to make mini quilts for the dolls.

This was Ashley's first time sewing on a sewing machine. She did super! Colorado helped to supervise sometimes.

Grandma was the top supervisor and did the dolls feet for us. They were a bit tricky.

Daddy was home for the day because it rained "freezing rain" for 6 hours. He helped to entertain Samuel every so often. He was busy working on the computer for work.

The girls stuffed their dolls.

They tied their quilts.

Voila the finished dolls, blankets, pillows and heart shaped pillow (the girls designed the heart shaped pillows, with a bell in it to be a rattle). They did a fantastic job!
