May Long Weekend!

What did you do for the long weekend ("Victoria Day")? We did the regular house hold chores of laundry, and yard work and tidying up the house, but this passed long weekend it was like Christmas in our home. All of the kids decided to switch bedrooms. It took most of the day, but the kids had tons of fun.

This is Jarom's poster hung on his bedroom door in the basement (old bedroom). If you enlarge the picture, you can see the death threat written on it.

Here is a shot of his and Avery's untidy room. Colorado slept in his room that night (in her sleeping bag on the floor) because it was a long weekend.

Jarom and Avery took over Isaac and Spencer's old room. Here is the finished re-arranged room.

The bed is now against the window and Samuel's dresser on the other side of the room. Samuel gets to share a room with them until he comes out of his crib. He is now 8 months old.

This is what Isaac and Spencer's room looked like before Jarom and Avery took it over.

Isaac and Spencer moved across the hall to Colorado's old room.

Ta da! Isaac and Spencer's new bedroom. The bunkbeds were moved up against the window.

Even though there is a shelf built in the room we still moved the bookshelf (with ALL the books ) into the room. We didn't want Spencer to miss all his books. Isaac plans to use the shelves and empty cupboards for his toys.

Colorado cleaning out her old room. Have you ever seen what a place looks like after a tornado hits? This was it.

Colorado would load up her blanket with some items, and cart them downstairs to the family room floor.

The pile of items. Ranging from dolls, to stuffed toys, to books and so forth. The tornado hit really bad.

Here is Colorado's new and if I might add, REALLY CLEAN ROOM!

She chose to put her bed in the middle of the room. She put all her stuffed toys on the top bunk.

On the far side of her bed was her brown refridgerator. Oh sorry I'm not allowed to call it that (Jarom gets quite offended). This UGLY looking brown shelf Jason got at a yard sale ages ago. He got it for $5.00. Jarom and him think it is so-o-o-o-o neat and won't let me throw it out. When Colorado moved into Jarom and Avery's old room, she inherited it.

The fish tank and dresser went at the end of the bed.
Everyone needs curtains switched around, but we will save that for another day.
