8 Is Great and 1 is Fun!

He made it! Our Isaac is now 8 and was baptized on Saturday.

I told Jason to hold him under the water for 15 min to make sure all his sins were washed away. Isaac didn't like that idea.

Isaac's friend Micah came (from our old ward in Fredericton) to see him get baptized. Micah was baptized in February.

It was a full day. After the baptism (later in the afternoon) was Isaac and Samuel's birthday party. Isaac turned 8 on September 16 and Samuel turned 1 on September 18.
Samuel slept through most of the party until cake time. He didn't have any friends over. What bum parent's we are eh. He'll get his own party when he is a bit older. The first game we played was the "Mummy Wrap Game". Everyone got put into 2 teams and one team mate had to wrap the other up as a mummy.

After everyone was Mummitized, Jason told them to throw all the toilet paper at Isaac and then to throw it into the air. It was wild.

Next we did the limbo game. The boy in the green shirt is Spencer. He found the game quite easy because the pole was always above his head.

We also had a puzzle game we played and then we woke up Samuel.

Cake time! Samuel had a white cake.

Isaac had a chocolate cake with chocolate coins and hallowe'en themed gummy suckers on top of it. He was in such a daze that twice his friend Jackson, the boy in the green shirt blew the candles out for him. The third time I told Jackson (in a sweet calm voice) to not open his mouth and to let Isaac blow out the candles.

Samuel had tons of fun eating his cake and playing with the dinosaurs that had been on top of the cake.

Gift opening time.

Samuel had fun playing with his new toy. You push the top and 4 balls spin around the bottom. Samuel was occupied for a l- o-o-o-o-g time.

He played some more with his dinosaurs.

Isaac enjoyed playing with his new "Storm Trooper Helmet" and his 2 new Bionicles.
