"Peeps"

We (Jarom, Mommy and Colorado), rescued a baby bird from his death. First Jarom saw the baby bird from the upstairs bathroom window. Cinnamon had it in her mouth. We both ran downstairs yelling for Colorado to go and save it. So the baby bird was rescued and then Dad took over. He said it most likely wouldn't live and took it to the other side of the house to finish it off. Well Mommy didn't want that to happen, so we saved the baby bird again just as Dad had his hand raised with a huge rock. To make a long story short, Colorado now has "Peeps" (the name she has given the bird) in her room in her old bird cage. She (Colorado is claiming it is a "she"), is nestled up in a make shift nest (wash cloth) and Colorado feeds her every 20 minutes or so (cut up grapes and cheeries). It's so cute because she opens her mouth and chirps. There is a new rule for Colorado's room "NO CATS ALLOWED!!" We did praise Cinnamon and tell her she was a good cat. She wasn't too happy we took her toy away. We now wait and see if "Peeps" survives the night.
