Last weekend was our ward's temple trip. We travelled to Halifax, Nova Scotia (4 hrs from here) late Friday afternoon, with friends of ours (their family has 4 girls and 1 boy - sorry no pic of their family). We spent the night at the "Best Western". Before heading to bed we went swimming in the hotel pool and relaxed in the hot tub. We met another family from our ward, (that stayed at the same hotel) and they went swimming with all of us.
The next morning we ate a complimentary buffet breakfast. The kids were in their glory with everything to choose from.
Jason and I went in the temple first with Jarom and Colorado (while Mark and Rachel watched our kids and their own). We then swapped places and we watched the kids (that's when we used the play-doh Jarom and Isaac made up). We then drove halfway home, stopped for a pit stop and had pizza at Pizza Delight. We arrived home at about 10 pm. It was a long trek but worth it. We are off again this weekend with the same family, but to PEI (Prince Edward Island).
