Our oldest son turned 14 on Dec 1st. Where have all the years gone. It seems like only yesterday they placed this 6lb. baby in my arms. We suggested to Jarom taking his friends to laser tag, a movie or a hockey game. He's a very simple kid/teenager, (like his Dad) and suggested bowling. So we took Jarom and 6 of his friends bowling (sorry forgot to take the camera to the bowling alley). After wards they all came back to the house for pizza, cake and gift opening.

Spencer and Samuel were in their glory watching Jarom blow out the candles on his cake.

Jarom requested a "Death by Chocolate Cake". Usually what he requests every year. The cake and icing were chocolate with Hershey's Kisses on top. This is the first year that we didn't have half a cake left over. Teenage boys sure can down a cake.

After observing Colorado's birthday this passed summer Jarom was hoping to get some money for his birthday. One guest brought a gift and the rest money. He raked in over $190.00. He hasn't decided what to do with his loot yet, but I did tell him to wait until after Christmas and he would get some things on sale.
