Here are the 4 oldest kids ready for the first day of school. It's not an outside shot because the kids catch the bus at 7:38 am. Jarom and Colorado have since started seminary and leave the house at 6:30 am with Dad (who is the seminary teacher) to go to the church.
Our beautiful girl taking some self portraits of herself.
Spencer's first day of school. He started school on the Thursday of the same week as the older kids. He had staggered entry into Kindergarten because the school only sent a few children through out the week at a time. Friday was a with all the Kindergarteners. He was so excited to take the bus with everyone.
Isaac turned 11. Colorado wanted to make him his cake this year. Isaac requested an Angel Food cake (with whip cream on top and icecream on the side). She coloured it blue for him. Isaac opted not to have a party and go to "Tree Go" with Dad, Jarom and Colorado. Check out the link of where he went, http://www.treegomoncton.com/english.html
Spencer lost his first tooth. Wow! Mom couldn't be it. Everyone else in the family was in grade 1 when they lost their first tooth (at least she thinks they were?).
When school got out for the summer Avery brought home this tiny sunflower plant. We planted it in the front flower bed. It finally opened up the end of September.
It also grew VERY TALL.
Jarom wanted to show how tall it was up to him.
Here are some of the pumpkins we got from our garden this year. Not many. The smaller ones are for pumpkin pies. We have since added one the size of the pumpkin on the right, that is a orange with a bit of green on it. We'll be getting our costumes ready for Hallowe'en soon.
