9 Already!

Isaac had his 9th birthday party. Wow how time flies! He was our smiley baby. He always had a smile on his face (still does smile a lot). I can't believe he is now 9. We started the "Monster" themed party off with a eyeball/spoon relay race. We have a circular part in our home and each team had to go around it with their eyeball. If they dropped their eyeball they had to pick it up and keep going.

Next we played Monster Musical Chairs. While waiting for the music to stop we listened to "Monster Mash" and the "Ghostbusters Theme Song".

Dad and Colorado made up this goulish looking monster for our next game. We called him "Mervin the Monster". He even got to have green boogies coming out of his nose (compliments of Colorado). I sewed up 6 bean bags and you had to throw them in his mouth, and feed him.

Our last activity was the "Mummy Wrap Game". We did this game last year and it was a big hit, so we decided to do it again.

Some of our finished Mummies. Everyone got a hat (or rabbit ears if you were Isaac's partner) and a prop to go with it (the Super-Man crest as shown above).

Avery unwrapped himself before I could get a picture. He had on a pirate hat and 3 necklaces.

Onto the cake, or should we say "Monster Cupcakes". We used the silly feet that Auntie Joy and Uncle Eric got us awhile back (and bought 4 more to go with the ones we already had). Everyone got to decorate their monster how ever they wanted and dive in and eat him/her.

Gift opening time.

Wow! Isaac got his own box of Lucky Charms all to himself (and lots of other cool gifts). No sharing with anyone if he doesn't want to.

Isaac had a super duper party. We get a little break and Samuel has his party on Saturday.
